ABSTRACT ART IS FUN

i was super excited when my friend tim, who i've known since 2nd grade, contacted me about commissioning an abstract painting. he wanted the colors based off of this piece of fabric. i don't usually use a ton of color in my paintings so this was going to be a cool challenge. the process was really fun, i re-painted it about 8 times and LOVE the final product. tim is a landscape architect (which i didn't know until he picked up the painting) so the horizontal landscape look worked out perfectly. and if you turn it vertically it has a totally different look and feel. clearly i had to show both ways and had a fun time doing it. do you like it horizontal or vertical?
