It has been a full year since Bryan and I have been back to St. John since our engagement shoot, so you can imagine how excited we were to be back. We went with Bryan's parents, who have an INCREDIBLE condo there right in Cruz Bay. Everyday gets better than the next when you're there, but this day in particular was one for the books. The Olson's planned a full day boat trip over to the British Virgin Islands with Captain Doyle from Midnight Sun Boat Charters aboard his brand new boat, the Obsidian, a custom 37ft Midnight Express. And you guys, this boat was the coolest thing I have ever been on/seen. All black, with all white interior, incredible sound system (you can play your own music via Bluetooth) and over 900 horse power. So we were basically a rocket ship on water.

Captain Doyle Van Horn! He moved to the islands 14 years ago, has a Masters Captain License from the U.S. Coast Guard, has ran all different types of boats from small sailboats to large yachts and is the main Captain on the Obsidian. He's the best!

After a quick snorkel to see some sunken canons we headed over to Saba Rock in the BVIs for lunch. It's this tiny island with fancy hotel rooms, bars, a restaurant and tons of areas to lounge around. It was the coolest place!

After Saba Rock we headed to the Baths in Virgin Gorda, BVI.

Bryan and I took turns holding our phones above our heads in a plastic bag. I really wanted to bring my DSLR but was too worried about anything happening to it. It was a workout!

It normally takes about 20 minutes to get through the Baths. It took Bryan and I about 50. Oops! This is why we were a little late. But come on, how could you pass up laying in that water?!

Obviously had to get a shirt. Don't mind my face, I don't know how to act normal in front of the camera.
