THE GANG BECOMES ART
It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is my favorite show of all time. It is always playing in our house and I just love everything about it.
I decided to create a 14-painting series to celebrate the 14th season. It is definitely a passion project that I have been excited to do, and I am about halfway done! I have been time-lapsing each painting, and commissioned JOMAN to create custom music for each video, and my goodness, he crushed it and the songs get stuck in my head for days. My husband Bryan edits the videos together, adding clips from the show after the painting process to give people a feel for each character if they don’t watch the show. Right after I posted my Ongo painting video to Instagram, CHARLIE DAY reposted it to his instagram and I about passed out. Insane.
Then Glenn Howerton retweeted my Dayman painting on twitter the following week and I just couldn’t believe it. Still can’t.
The following week when I posted my painting of Sweet Dee, Kaitlin Olson added it to her insta-story, and I love what she said. :)
